NWT Portfolio (“the app”) helps you track assets and liabilities on your device. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it is stored, and what choices you have.

Summary

• Your portfolio data stays on your device unless you choose to export it.
• The app does not require an account, login, or email to use.
• We do not sell your data or show advertising.
• Market prices and exchange rates are fetched from a third-party data provider using symbols you enter (for example, AAPL or BTC/USD).

Information you provide

You may enter information such as:

• Asset and liability names, categories, and values
• Currency preferences
• Market symbols and unit counts for market-valued holdings

This information is stored locally on your phone or tablet. It is not uploaded to our servers because the app does not operate a cloud backend in this version.

Information stored on your device

The app may store the following locally:

• Your holdings, settings, and preferred currency
• Cached market quotes and foreign-exchange rates
• A daily counter of market-data API requests used on that device

You can remove this data at any time using Settings → Clear all data.

Information sent to third parties

Twelve Data (market data)

When you add or refresh market-valued assets, or when exchange rates are updated, the app may send requests to Twelve Data to look up a market symbol or currency pair. These requests do not include your name, email, account credentials, or a full list of your holdings.

What we do not collect

• User accounts or in-app email collection
• Advertising or marketing trackers
• Sale or rental of personal information
• Upload of your portfolio to our own servers

Export and backup

Settings → Export CSV creates a file of your holdings that you can share or save using your device’s share sheet. Once exported, that file is under your control.

Children’s privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13.

Data retention

Data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes locally stored app data from that device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
